Rockets Lakers Open Season?

Nothing official until tonight at 6pm, but word on the street is the Rockets will play at the Lakers on opening night in the NBA as part of a doubleheader.  The Heat @ The Celtics is apparently the other game in the TNT doubleheader.  The NBA releases its opening night games as well as Christmas Day/MLK Day games tonight on NBA TV.  The full schedule will be released on August 10th.

Now here's some rookie hazing at its finest.  Dolphins rookie Travis Ivey was more than happy to support his veteran teammates by carrying their pads off the field.

It seems to me that Alan Iverson might be a bit strapped for cash.  Unless someone hijacked his Twitter account.  Really AI? According to Basketball-Reference you made $154 million in your NBA career.  Now you are accepting advertisements on your Twitter? Wow...just wow...
