What trip to Los Angeles is complete without the standard LA breakfast?
I had the 'Scoe's 1/4 chicken which is a quarter of a chicken pan fried served along side two of the best waffles I have ever had. You would not think that the taste combination would be good, but you cut off a piece of chicken, and pile it on some butter/syrup covered waffle and you have a party in your mouth.
Check out the book I found here in Pasadena. Hard to believe I traveled 2,500 miles to find this since it seems we have this in Houston.
My little brother Moses is a senior at USC, so he gave us a grand tour of the campus. It's no wonder that tuition at Southern Cal is upwards of $50,000 a year. You know you have a great film school when your buildings are named after these two guys.
We also went to the building that houses all of USC's athletic hardware and achievements. There were a couple of artifacts that I really wanted to check out. For instance, check out this "non-disgraced" Heisman winner and retired jersey.
If you look really closely, you can see the impressions in the carpet where Reggie Bush's Heisman trophy once stood. They removed it Wednesday afternoon.
As for the actual game between the Cougars and the Bruins? Well, there wasn't much to write home about. Not only did the Cougars lose the game, but they also lost their top two QB's for the season.
Elsewhere in college football, rarely does one play cause TWO teams fan bases to have a heart attack. Michigan State called a fake FG in overtime to beat Notre Dame.
Later that night, Spartans coach Mark Dantonio had a heart attack.
