Even though we already knew the teams the Texans were playing, it's a tad intimidating when you see it on paper. This is the NFL's toughest schedule based on last year's win/loss records and that includes a 4-12 Redskins team that just traded Jim Zorn and Jason Campbell for Mike Shanahan and Donovan McNabb. Before knowing what the Texans or anyone else does in the NFL draft, it is pretty clear if the Texans make the NFL playoffs, they will have earned it.
A couple of other observations about the 2010 NFL Schedule:
Colts @ Texans is by far the best Sunday matchup on Week 1. It should be interesting to see if a rookie CB is ready for the assault of Peyton Manning.
Pittsburgh has five Prime Time games on their ledger, but none of them fall in the 1st half of the season. But Roger Godell suspension of Big Ben has nothing to do with the scheduling of games...Things that make you go Hmmmm...
For the 1st time in a LONG time we have a dynamite Thanksgiving Day game with the Cowboys hosting the World Champion New Orleans Saints in the 3pm game.
Week 4 October 3rd Donovan McNabb visits Philly to take on Kevin Kolb and the Eagles.
