So apparently if you call someone's mom a hooker, an apology suffices to the NFL Commissioner.
I don't want to make too big a deal out of this, but why hasn't Roger Goodell at least censured the Dolphins GM. That line of questioning was way out of line by Ireland and quite frankly, I find it hard to believe that asking a player "if his mom was a hooker?" was merely a poor choice of words. At the very least Ireland was trying to embarrass Dez Bryant. I'm also surprised that Bill Parcells or the Dolphins' ownership group would not come out against Ireland.
